Translingual arts-based practices for language learners

Abstract In this article, we advocate for the enriching role of arts-based practices in delivery a translingual pedagogic approach. With growing interest translanguaging, ELT practitioners are searching models and creative ideas that foster environment their learners. We have responded to call developed collaborative project entitled ‘Creative Language Practices: Exploring Translanguaging Pedagogical Contexts Beyond’. The brought together language researchers from University Glasgow, artists, school teachers. By sharing our approach practices, want promote adoption values guiding principles through use arts as methodology learning meaning-making. Instead feeling intimidated by complexity difficulty concept teachers could adopt an pedagogy catalyst practice will help learners explore resources.
